Garlic Mustard Buffalo Wing Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp. (2 oz/ 57 g) salted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c (4 fl oz/ 118 ml) Frank’s Red Hot sauce, or similar
  • 2 tbsp (1 fl oz/ 30 ml) yellow mustard
  • *Optional: pinch guar gum

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and let it cook about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in the mustard and hot sauce.
  4. Once it starts steaming, begin stirring vigorously with a whisk.
  5. Sprinkle in the guar gum, if using, while whisking to fully incorporate.
  6. Remove from the heat and serve as desired.

Notes

Guar gum may be omitted.
